Help for Struggling Learners

Set up School-Wide Systems to Support Children with Language Delays

A child's ability to understand and use language is foundational to their education. Language skills impact a child's ability to learn from their teacher, communicate with their peers, and develop their reading and writing.

Children who are delayed in oral language skills need additional supports and interventions to catch up to their peers. This week-long workshop will help you set up school-wide systems that will support those students and the teachers and educators who work with them.

Training for your Whole School!

Bring your Whole Team!

I hope you've brought your whole school team with you! (If not, send them the link and have them watch the recordings!) On day five, we will work on setting up your school's systems. Every school is different so you'll want to customize your plan to what works for you. On Friday, you will have the opportunity to hop on a live call with Carrie to ask questions and work through challenges. Your school's MTSS plan for language will continue to grow and improve as you implement it. So for now, just focus on getting started.

Presenter:

Carrie Clark, CCC-SLP

Welcome! I am a speech-language pathologist based out of Missouri, United States of America. I work full time running the Speech and Language Kids website and our professional membership program at www.SLPSolution.com. In addition to that, I also see speech therapy clients in a local school district one day per week.

I've worked in early intervention, preschool, and k12 schools. I've also run my own private practice and worked in continuing education through my websites. I've spent hours digging through the research on what works and doesn't work in therapy. And I've also spent hours streamlining and simplifying my own practice to help me make the most out of my limited time as an SLP.

Now, I'm ready to help you do the same! I've poured everything I know into creating courses that help you learn the most effective and streamlined ways to support your clients And you'll know that everything I'm recommending is a strategy that I have used myself with great success. My courses will break down skills for you into step-by-step plans that you can implement in therapy right away. And I'll help you learn shortcuts and organization hacks that will save you time and energy and help you love what you do again. I can't wait to get started and show you how much better this job can be!
